Expressing endless gratitude to
two special people who helped
make the original book happen!
I had three pages of acknowledgments in the print version of my first book but chose not to do so in the electronic, expanded & enhanced version. So with great respect, gratitude & admiration
I'd like to acknowledge the following two people who were the most instrumental in encouraging me to bring the initial book to fruition:
Maria Bennett, Ph.D. www.linkedin.com/in/maria-bennett-236a2913/— was the first person to read my rough manuscript, made wonderful suggestions, inspiring me to take it to the next stage. This book might never have been realized without her gentle encouragement. Maria is truly one of the most talented, intelligent, kind, thoughtful and humblest writers I've ever had the privilege to work with and I am extremely grateful to have had the tremendous gift of her marvelous friendship. Outstanding both personally and professionally, Maria is and will always be in a league of her own.
Donna Baker Church — who recently left this planet, was one of the nicest, most talented editor/writers I have ever had the pleasure to work with and as a result also became a trusted life-long friend. In its initial stages, Donna coaxed me to send her my first couple of chapters, even knowing I couldn't afford her services. Upon receiving her suggestions and edits, realizing how wonderfully valuable her advice and encouragement was, (and how alike we thought) we went on, chapter by chapter, payment by payment until the book was finished. She made the editing process a joy! Her presence in my life is sorely missed.
