Definitions of Love from Gene
Unconditional Love...
"The essence of healing energy
is pure, unconditional love
given freely without ever expecting
anything in return.
It is the unselfish act
of being completely present with
and for someone.
It's accepting them for who they are
totally without any judgment.
It's being willing to share
any experience they offer
including pain and negative emotions,
with the intention of helping them
relieve their suffering on every level
by bringing about a deeper understanding
of their purpose in life."

The Many Variations of Love

about the many definitions of love
and the endless forms that it can take.
But for just a moment let's look at love
in a simpler way: Love is love.
It's all the same and is just that simple!
What differs are the types of relationships
that it binds together
intensities that vary with each situation
and the manner in which
that love is expressed.
The appropriateness of its expression can sometimes cause confusion
as what seems appropriate to one person
may feel inappropriate to another.
Its purity can be measured
by its degree of selfless intent.
Being sensitive to the feelings of others
is also an expression of love
so always ask before you give someone a hug
but never let the fear of others' reactions
keep you from offering it.
Learning to give and receive love
is why we are all came here —
so be patient with those who have closed themselves off to it...
stay away from those who judge you
and never stop giving love unconditionally
to everyone you meet."
This is the true path to happiness!
