Frequently Asked Questions
Will a Healing Session solve all of my problems?
If you are expecting one Healing Session to do that you should definitely re-examine your expectations! Problems are constantly thrown in our path to help us get better at finding solutions and as a result we learn, grow and evolve as spiritual beings. If there is a specific problem that is continually present, the cause of the problem needs to be addressed. These Healing Sessions can help you to become strong enough to do so. Once we solve our present problems new ones will invariably take their place. Look at them as a motivation for developing the tools which will enhance your personal growth and increase your ability to handle life. With each healing session a person becomes stronger and more aware of their own situation thus making it easier for them to handle, change and control their lives. How often will I need a Healing Session? The answer varies with each person depending on their own unique situation. I recommend a "tune-up" (which is what I call a follow-up visit) a week or two after a first session, but some people can go six months or longer before feeling the need for one, while others may need to be cleared out each week. Some clients choose to come every week as they feel an overwhelming sense of peace, relaxation and perspective which they can't seem to find anywhere else. Sometimes the decision depends on how sensitive they are and how much "stuff" (negative energy) he or she absorbs from other people and from their immediate environment. Some therapists for example, come to see me on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to clear out all the emotional turmoil which they've absorbed from their patients. Some clients with cancer come weekly because the energy work helps restore their immune system and works in harmony with other treatments. For instance, it can counteract the side effects of chemo and radiation. Depending on the degree of severity, physical injuries sometimes take longer to heal but these sessions tend to speed up the healing process markedly and the more frequent sessions usually obtain better results. Note: My definition of "stuff" is: problems, worries, concerns, fears, pains, aggravations, frustrations, annoyances, anger, losses, threatened losses, etc. Do you tell your clients how often to come back? No. Although the more often a person has a session the more beneficial it will be to them, part of my goal is to enable my clients to become more self-determined, so when to come back and how many sessions are required is always up to them. Gains from a session can sometimes continue to be realized days, weeks and even months after a session. Will I need to start over from scratch each time I come back for a session? I like to think of a healing session as digging a hole. Once it's dug (by getting rid of spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical turmoil) that "stuff" which prevented you from healing in the past has been eliminated. We then continue from that point and go deeper each time, thus handling the issues that caused the blockages, as I continue to fill you with unconditional love coming from a Divine source. We then focus on increasing your personal power and abilities — that are now unaffected by your past. Since my first session with you I have been feeling much better, lighter, stress and worry free. Is it normal for me to feel emotional? When I was in yoga class this morning I was so happy and grateful that I started to get teary. Most people are more in touch with their feelings after a session. Feelings of sadness and joy are closely related, as the absence of one intensifies the other. What is the difference between what you do and Reiki? Reiki is just one of very many wonderful forms of energy work. Since I am also a Reiki Master, I am convinced that what I do is far more powerful. There are a few distinct differences between what I do and Reiki which I explain during the TV Interview on my Interviews Section. I’ve been reading a lot about your Group Healings. How do they differ from your Hands-on Sessions? It's like comparing apples to oranges. They’re both great but different. Group Healings address issues that we all have in common. As I work I don't touch but instead work on their auric fields as I combine guided visualization, meditation, sound healing and energy healing, using a unique soundtrack which I composed and performed. In my Hands-on Sessions I actually touch the person (with permission) while working on their chakras addressing specific issues. Most clients can feel the warm, loving energy surging through their bodies as it emanates through me from a Divine Source. Many people love to do both and keep coming back for more! © Gene Krackehl, LLC. All Rights Reserved. |
Thank you for a wonderful first session. I had no idea that I could release so much of my past. For a couple of days after the session I felt tired. Is this normal?
Most people feel energized and renewed after a first session. Since the very beginning many have remarked about having arrived in tears only to float or fly out at the end of a session. The feeling of lightness achieved by releasing their "stuff" through these sessions is a normal phenomenon. However for some, because they have released so much of their trauma, (and they may continue to release more even days after the session), will tend to feel drained. For them, this is also quite normal. Energy Healing gets a person in touch with their body. If your body needs rest, give it rest! You'll be feeling much better shortly. In first sessions especially, all the "stuff" that the person was ready to confront and release comes off in layers, bringing about a euphoric feeling, only to find that a deeper layer, having been long buried, may surface — now ready to be released. Subsequent "tune-ups" stabilize the person and allow them to continue to grow and prosper in all areas of their lives. Are your sessions religious in nature? My sessions are spiritual in nature. Although I've long felt that some religions do more to point out our differences rather than our similarities, I honor all religions and the religious beliefs of all of my clients (and often collect artifacts from various religions which are displayed in my healing room) but neither I nor my sessions are in any way connected to or associated with any religion or cult of any type. The essence of the healing energy that flows through me consists of unconditional love and if you believe that "God is Love" then that's about as religious as it gets. Am I required to do a 3 hour hands-on session first? Due to COVID-19 I have temporarily suspended my hands-on sessions but my regular clients have found my phone/distance sessions to be equally effective. Therefore a one-hour distance healing will serve as a first session. Do you do "Exorcisms" or remove "curses"? No. That is not my focus. There are some who specialize in doing that but please be very careful as there are many "psychics" who advertise to remove “curses” charging many thousands of dollars, profiting from your fears. Research these people carefully before you use them — especially for criminal records. If this is what you need, I might be able to refer someone else to you. How did you get to be called "The Amazing Healer"? Many years ago, my son, Jonathan (who was a marketing genius, even at a very young age) gave me a website for my healing practice as a Father's Day gift. I noticed that the domain name said "amazinghealer.com". When I commented that it sounded a little egotistical, he replied, "But Dad, people will remember it!" — and he was right! As far as I'm concerned, when compassion and love are utilized to ease pain and suffering, all healers are truly amazing. How do you make the distinction between ego and promoting yourself? I come from an advertising background. I have a degree in Advertising Design and spent over 30 years marketing and promoting businesses ranging from large and small corporations to TV shows to motion pictures and much more. With marketing, your goal is to grab the attention of and present your goods and services to your target audience in a unique, honest and easy to understand way — one which describes the benefits you offer to them and makes you stand out from your competitors. Your first goal is to grab a person's attention and a certain amount of "hype" is sometimes necessary. This is often associated with ego. There is a difference between ego, marketing and hype. Hype sometimes helps your marketing, ego is when you start to believe your own hype! To Schedule a Private Healing Session with Gene: Call 914-232-4409 |
