Hearts Break Open...
So many of us are hurting right now --
having lost someone close to us.
The truth is that we can’t fully
appreciate love until we lose it
and the amount of love we had
is directly proportionate
to the joy and happiness
that person brought into our lives —
the lack of which is now
being felt as loss.
Feelings of sadness and joy
are closely related
as the absence of one
only intensifies the other.
The depth of appreciation of each
is in proportion to
the experience of the other.
Loss is the empty container
created by the marvelous substance
it once held.
Hearts break open, not closed!
Once we let go of the pain and grief
we realize that as a result
our hearts have become much larger
and more able to hold love
allowing us to experience it
on a much deeper, more profound level.
When you fully realize
on a Spiritual level
that you can never lose the love
that you’ve been given
by anyone at any time —
and that your connection
to them can never be broken
your sadness will soon turn to joy.
