​(The secret to freeing yourself)

The majority of people on this planet are "stuck in the mud" — not knowing who they really are, why they are here, where they came from and where they are going.

​Somewhere along the line, someone figured out that if they could get you to beat yourself up, they wouldn't have to! Blame, shame and guilt are effective ways of controlling good people and only good people beat themselves up!

Is there something for which you just can't forgive yourself? Most of us do. Regrets can be good, as they tell us that we've learned from that experience! Realize that we all came to this planet to learn from our mistakes, and the more mistakes we make (without intending to) the more knowledge and wisdom we acquire. By forgiving yourself you are literally and energetically converting that experience into knowledge and wisdom (which you can take with you to help you do better the next time). It's the only reason why you had that experience to begin with! All it takes is a decision.

Is there someone who you just can't forgive? Yes, I'm sure they did something pretty awful to you! There isn't anyone on this planet who gets through life unscathed. Rest assured that they will eventually find themselves in your shoes, experiencing every bit as much pain and agony that they put you through.
​Karma is like that!

By not forgiving them (which is nothing more than making the decision to detach from them, send them off and wish them well) you are actually preventing yourself from converting that experience into knowledge and wisdom, moving on, growing and evolving as a spiritual being. Do you really want to allow their actions to affect you and control your destiny in that way? Maybe they don't deserve your forgiveness but don't you deserve to be free of your connection to them? Realize that it is your decision to remain connected to them and therefore stuck! But you can also make the decision to let go and forgive. It's just a decision, but a very powerful one. By forgiving others you are freeing yourself!
