Love Beyond Romance & Passion...

I’ve always considered myself 
a hopeless romantic 
and will always consider 
those feelings the “spice of life”  
but I also acknowledge 
that there is such a thing 
as a "Higher Love."

It isn’t a spark, but a steady flame.

It’s love that has walked through 
misunderstandings 
survived mistakes 
learned from pain
chosen forgiveness 
and stayed when leaving was easier…

It’s an evolution.
It’s trust built slowly — 
layer by layer, truth by truth
apology by apology.

It’s a history of shared memories
shared growth and shared scars --
that became wisdom.

It’s shared laughter that 
only you both understand.

It’s two souls teaching each other 
hard lessons — 
lessons that they contracted 
to teach each other 
before coming here.
Helping each other to rise and change. 
Accepting each other’s shadows 
while validating their evolving maturity.

It’s where love becomes conscious — 
and consciousness becomes love.
