LifeCoaching I am also a LifeCoach. After a person has gotten through a crisis, they sometimes find it helpful to have someone to cheer them on and help them see and enjoy the bigger picture. I have spent the past 35 years specializing in counseling people on relationships, motivating them to determine and attain their own personal, professional and spiritual goals. Throughout this process I am in constant contact with clients through the phone and via e-mail. My assistance is always in the form of gentle encouragement and nurturing to help my clients develop the wisdom, growth and satisfaction that only comes from personal experience. I never make a decision for a client or tell them what to think about their own situation, but instead, gently help them explore the options that are available to them in a completely non-judgemental way. You are given permission to strive to achieve your fullest potential and beyond! Occasionally my abilities as a healer are utilized in certain situations as they are needed. Some of the areas where I am able to help shed light are: spiritual matters; relationships; developing people skills; decision-making; corporate politics; self-confidence; values clarification; career change and motivation.   Some differences between LifeCoaching and Therapy: I like to think of a person in therapy as "being stuck in the mud" thus needing a therapist to help pull them out. In these cases I often refer many of my healing clients to therapists. However, once they're out of the mud and all cleaned up from the things that happened to them in the past, they're ready to set goals and focus on their future and all of their potentials. The focus here is on actions rather than feelings and on taking responsibility for their own actions and realizing the connection between their actions and success. LifeCoaching is more of a "co-active" approach, the relationship is that of peers who are forming a sort of partnership as opposed to a hierarchical, mentoring approach as taken in therapy.
